本标准是“自攻螺钉”系列国家标准之一。该系列包括:

本标准按照GB/T 1.1-2009给出的规则起草。
本标准代替GB/T 846-1985《十字槽沉头自攻螺钉》,与 GB/T 846-1985相比,主技术要变化如下:
---增加R型(见图1和表1);
---增加通用技术条件按GB/T 16938(见第2章、表2);
---对钢螺钉,增加不经处理及非电解锌片涂层技术要求按GB/T 5267.2(见表2);
---增加不锈钢螺钉产品及技术要求(见表2);
---增加“如需其他技术要求或表面处理,应由供需协议”(见表2)。
本标准使用重新起草法修改采用ISO 7050:2011《十字槽沉头自攻螺钉》。
与ISO 7050:2011的技术性差异及其原因如下:
---在规范性引用文件中,用我国标准代替国际标准(见第2章),增加引用GB/T 90.2(见表2)和
GB/T 1237(见5.1),以符合我国紧固件基础标准;
---增加包装技术要求(见表2),以符合我国紧固件基础标准;
---修改标记示例为简化标记示例(见5.2),以符合GB/T 1237的规定。

本标准由全国紧固件标准化技术委员会(SAC/TC85)归口。
本标准负责起草单位:中机生产力促进中心。

1 范围
本标准规定了十字槽沉头自攻螺钉的型式尺寸、技术条件和标记。
本标准适用于螺纹规格为ST2.2~ST9.5、产品等级为A级的十字槽沉头自攻螺钉。

This Standard was drafted as per the rules specified in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaced GB/T 846-1985 Cross-Recessed Countersunk (Flat) Head
Tapping Screws; compared with GB/T 846-1985, this Standard has the major technical
changes as follows.
--- Increased Type-R (see Figure 1 and Table 1);
--- Add general technical conditions as per GB/T 16938 (see Clause 2, Table 2);
--- For steel screws, add the untreated and non-electrolytically applied zinc flake
coating technical requirements as per GB/T 5267.2 (see Table 2);

1 Scope
This Standard specifies the type and dimension, technical conditions and marking of
cross-recessed countersunk (flat) head tapping screws.
This Standard is applicable to the cross-recessed countersunk (flat) head tapping
screws with Thread Specification of ST 2.2 ~ ST 9.5, and Product Grade A.
